Things to do this summer , the summer holiday’s are here!!!

How are you planning on filling the 6 weeks?  According to the Post Office’s annual money report, UK parents are set to spend an extra £468 per family this summer and this almost doubles for London parents who’re estimated to spend an extra £870 on family activities.

SUMMER ACTIVITIES: Things to do this summer

1. Have a picnic

If the sun is not shining and its too wet to play why not have an indoor picnic my children just love to throw their blankets and pillows down and have lunch on the floor with all their teddies.

2. Home Cinema

Shut those curtains and cosy up. Why not make some yummy popcorn and grab their favourite treats, you can even let smaller children design some tickets and let them show you to a seat. This is a great activity for pregnant mummies who are too hot and tired for running around in the sun or for rainy days!

3. Get out and about…

Also on in Bristol this summer is a wide range of family friendly things to do.

Upfest 2017, Europe’s largest, free, street art & graffiti festival, will take place from 29 to 31 July when over 300 artists will paint at 35 venues throughout Bedminster & Southville.

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is Europe’s largest annual meeting of hot air balloons, attracting over 150 Hot Air Balloons from across the globe. The Fiesta truly is a sight that can only be seen in Bristol. Takes Place this year from the 10th August.

Colston Hall Hoo Ha. For the third year, Colston Hall comes alive for three days filled with music, mirth and rip-roaring fun for all the family. With interactive shows, awesome activities and tons of surprises in store around each corner. From the 15-17th August.

Bristol Doors Open Day: From dusk to dawn, from towers to tunnels, explore the city as never before with Bristol Doors Open Day from 7th September to 10th September.

4. Have a family photo-shoot with a difference

Are you looking for something different than the typical high street studio portrait for your family? Why not invite us on your summer day out, picnics in the park, Longleaf and LEGOLAND, you wont need to lug around your camera to capture the FUN just invite us along too to record all the memories for you. After all I know how much you have to carry around on days out with little ones.
