Booking in Newborn Baby’s
One of my most asked questions since I started photographing newborn is ‘but how can I book my newborn photo session when I don’t know when baby will arrive’ so I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about the reality of how we take newborn bookings whilst our client is still pregnant.
As lots of newborn photographers will tell you photography studios that specialize in newborn babies often book up months in advance for newborn bookings. This is because we can only take a limited number of ‘due dates’ per month to accommodate babies being born early or late. Upon booking we simply take your contact details and reserve your estimated delivery date in our diary. Once you have booked your session and paid your deposit you are guaranteed session within three weeks of babies arrival, regardless of when that may be. Just make sure you send us a quick email message to let us know when baby has arrived and we will arrange a session date and time to suit.
