Spotting a carpet of bluebells in a woodland is a highlight of any springtime walk. However bluebells are protected by the Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981). To ensure the bluebells keep coming back year after year your family should stay on paths, not pick the bluebells and keep dogs on a lead.
We are always looking out for new locations so please do let us know in the comments if you have found a great bluebell woodland.
I look forward to hearing from you.
